Fix Your Bike Government Voucher Scheme

Bananas About Bikes is registered to participate in the Fix Your Bike Government Voucher Scheme, which aims to encourage more people to embrace cycling as an alternative to private cars. Through this scheme, residents in England are able to apply for a free bike repair voucher that provides £50 towards the cost of a service or repairs needed to get their bike back into working order.

Redeeming Your Government Voucher

To redeem your Fix Your Bike Government Voucher, follow the steps below:

Step 1Book your free bike assessment and choose a date and time that suits you.

Step 2Bring your bike, Government voucher and approved form of identification to your appointment. We’ll validate your Government voucher and undertake a free bike assessment, to identify any repairs or maintenance needed.

Step 3Approve the repairs and apply your voucher. We’ll talk you through the repairs required and how you can put your voucher towards the cost of getting your bike back on the road. We’ll then order any parts required to fix your bike.

Step 4Book a convenient repair appointment. You can either leave your bike at our workshop, or bring it back at the time of your repair appointment.

Step 5Collect your bike. We’ll call to inform you when your bike is ready for collection. The voucher will cover the first £50 of your repairs and you can simply pay the difference if your repairs cost more than this.

* Redeemable value dependent upon work required. Terms and conditions apply – see here for details
